iMessage "blend" on two phones with same Apple ID

I'm helping a lady out that I know. She has two different devices, using the same apple ID. Her husband passed away and she wants to merge his iMessages to her device. Her device and his device were only using their numbers, not the Apple ID for messages. He has a 5C (so iCloud sync isn’t on the table), she has a 6. Any advice? I was thinking i may have to tell her to keep his device aside and keep it separate from her iMessage?

Question regarding factory reset

Hello guys! I'm new here. So this is my issue.

A cousin gave me his iphone6+.

He told me that he already factory reset it and he already unlock the iphone.

When I open the phone, maybe it was indeed reset already because I went to the process of choosing the language, selecting wifi network, and logging in my apple ID.

This is my very first iphone and I really don't know how the unlocking method work.

My concern is, for privacy concern, I want to factory reset it again but it may...

Google Music MP3s in iOS Music App

I'm a long time Android user that switched to the iPhone XS Max this year. Because of my history with Google I have a lot of music in their Play Music store. Is it possible to import these songs into the Music app on the iPhone? I know I can just download the Google Play Music app, but I'm trying to avoid that. Thank you.

My iphone X is disabled due to multiple login attempts by my son, till a point where there are no timer countdown.

Hi.

I have some dirt that i could not get rit of in the front ear speaker grill under front camera on my iphone 5.

Could i use a vacuum cleaner close up and suck it out or can it be harm/to tough for the phone?

I like to carry my earphones around in my pocket and use it when needed (mostly for music listening). Is there a way to keep it from getting tangled up in my pocket? A simple tool/device? FYI, I do not like having it plugged into my iPhone with the earbuds wrapped around.

WiFi keeps disconnecting on iPhone 6S

Until a few days ago, the phone was fine. For a few days now, I am having this issue that WiFi keeps dropping (keeps disconnecting). I have to go to Settings > WiFi and look at that wheel thing spin until it finds the WiFi again and connects it. A few minutes later, it drops it again. I have tried it with two separate WiFi connection - same issue. The same WiFis are used on other phones and laptops in the house and no one has any issue. hello,
I’ve spent countless hours and days trying to fix this issue. While on Facebook and clicking on a photo, the photo goes in focus to blurry. You know how it normally does the opposite? Well mine does not !! The picture will be in focus then goes blurry. Please help!! I’ve tried - resetting settings
- Dfu mode
- network reset
-delete and re download and update Facebook
None of these have worked.
Apple is clueless ,I’m upset with my brand New not even a month old phone and no one has...

Dead silence during connection (randomly on iPhone 6s)

Is anyone familiar with the following situation? My iPhone 6s shows the following problem.

As soon as one side accepts an outgoing or incoming phone call from or to my iPhone there’s only silence as if the connection was dead. But the timer is counting. Before an outgoing call is accepted I cannot even hear the ringing signal.

This only happens with normal phone calls or WLAN calls, but not via Skype. (Therefore, I guess calls via FaceTime, WhatsApp or Threema should be fine too.) It’s all...

Hey all,

I have had the touch IC flicker on the top of my iPhone 6 Plus for a while now. I have gotten away with placing a piece of tin foil under the metal guard which houses what I believe is the graphics unit, at the top right corner of the phone circuit board.

Today the flicker issue re-emerged, as it does from time to due to the tin foil becoming compressing and not making contact with the back of the screen board, causing it to become unresponsive....

iMovie video title disappearing when uploading from iPhone to youtube.

I’m having an annoying issue where I have a video on my iPhone X and add a title in iMovie and save. And when I upload to YouTube the title is gone! Anyone else seeing this? I see the title when playing the video and also on the YouTube upload menu... yet it disappears when it’s don’t uploading. It also disappears when I transfer the video to my PC. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

This has been happening for a while now and I don't know why...

Before when I would download an app from the App store, it would just ask me to double click the side button and then it would do face recognition and then the app would just start downloading.

6s Plus not recognized by PC, but only with OEM cables

Bought a used iphone 6s plus and have been having a strange issue.

When I try to connect it to my PC, my computer doesn't recognize it at all. After some trial and error, I found out it connects fine with a 3rd party cable, but not the cable included in the box. I've tried with multiple OEM cables and none of them worked.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? I doubt it's the cables, since they all work fine with my iPhone X. I don't think it's the phone since a non-Apple cable works...

My battery was draining incredibly fast so I replaced it with an aftermarket battery kit from amazon, following a youtube video. However, with the replacement battery, I could not turn on the phone, so I switched it back to the original battery. After closing up the phone, I can't charge the phone anymore or connect to a pc. This issue has been plaguing me since iOS 11. I have done factory restores with and without backups and even a DFU restore with both iOS 11 and iOS 12. The issue remains.

After many hours of usage, typically late at night around 3 am or so I enter into standby mode and use the iPhone again, everything on my display becomes much smaller, including the keyboard. I have to go to my Settings and change enable ZOOM in the Display and enable Large Fonts, plus slide the bar to make the text...

Adhesive coming out of my one month old iPhone X?

Got myself a new or refurbished iPhone X from service one month ago, took it out of the case to clean it and noticed something, maybe the adhesive coming out or something from near the power button, find it wierd since its been in a case the whole time, i also noticed that the olephobic coating is missing from some of the back glass, find it a bit wierd, should i bring it in or something?

I've been having some connectivity issues lately, and also my phone lags from time to time, in addition to getting warm.

I wanted to factory reset it but was wondering which of these should I perform: "Reset All Settings" or "Erase All Content and Settings".

I have already backed up my phone and ready to delete everything but is the second option the same as reset all setting but it also deletes data? Which one would solve most of the problem?
