Microphone problems in videos on iPhone XR?
About three weeks ago I bought upgraded to an iPhone XR. Since then I have the problem that sound in videos that I record is very noisy and low level, except if I whisper. It is the case for both front and rear camera. Phone calls and speech memo work fine.
I have Gravis Germany's hardware insurance, which is sort of like Apple Care+, but with additional theft insurance. Before I ask to make use of it or something similar, I wonder, does anyone else here have experienced this same problem?...

Can I export Gmail emails from iPhone to an external memory
I have an iPhone I need to obtain data from. I've managed to export all the other data I need like WhatsApp messages, iMessages, pictures, videos, e.t.c.
Now, I need to export emails from both phones.
Jailbreaking the device is not an option and the phone is not allowed to connect to the internet. (it's kind of a case)...
Any other option that can be used to export the emails? I am allowed to install a third party app if it helps.
The phones is an iPhone 8 Plus.

Iphone - messages archived
Hi all
Yesterday I lost all my text messages from one minute to the next. When I check my storage capacity, it writes that my messages reach 8.02 gb. When I click on storage capacity and then messages, it writes "messages (archived)".
I have tried to back-up on iTunes and reinstall the iPhone, but the result is the same. Since this is an iPhone 5, I can't save messages on iCloud.
I really hope someone can help me.

Battery charging tips?
I just updraded from a 6s to an 8+. Can someone enlighten about preserving battery capacity? because I don't want it to happen like on my 6s. I usually charge my phone whenever I can like for example even when my percentage is about 90%, I still charge it all the way to 100%. Is that bad at all? My battery capacity just dropped 2% in just 2 months.

Connecting to ITunes
I have a IPhone 8+ that I cannot get to connect to ITunes nor connect to or charge from the computer. I have watched so many bogus Utube videos that I gave up. I also couldn't get it to go into DFU mode nor be "recognized" by either ITunes or computer. At this point, I have to charge up phone from wall outlet. Could use some valid, sound advice!! I would prefer getting the phone into DFU mode and reset it. Perhaps, then, it will be "recognized" by both ITunes and the computer.

Apps Continuously Get Slower With Updates?
I once made the mistake of updating to iOS 11 on my iPhone 5s and I suffered a lot because of that. The iOS 11 made the 5s as whole very very slow to the point where day to day tasks with the phone became irritating. iOS 12 however made things a little bit better, although it was nothing compared to how fast the phone was in the early days on iOS 9 or 10.

Mysterious iPhone Notification Sound
For about a month now, my iPhone 7 mysteriously has a notification sound.
I would like to turn off that "ding" without having to put my entire phone on mute.
I have looked EVERYWHERE in Settings to try and figure out what could possible be causing the "ding" notification sound. I checked the "Notifications" category. I checked the "phone" settings. I checked "Safari."
What in the world could that noise possibly be? How do I turn off that random "ding" without putting my whole phone on...

Kernel mode/user mode ios update
I updated my two iphones to ios 12.1.3. I have been a bit suspicious that there is something wrong in my iphone x. That’s why I’ve been using also my old iphone6s. I updated both to the latest ios. Then I checked the analytics in both phones. Strange thing I noticed was that in my iphone6s the log showed it was done in ”Kernel mode” but in my IphoneX it was done in ”user mode”. Does anyone know why this is?

Need SIM to backup? Restoring woes.
First question:
a) Do you need your SIM inserted in order to backup your phone?
b) Does having your SIM inserted back up any of the contacts to your iPhone backup? In other words are there any benefits to having your SIM inserted when backing up?
I ask as the SIM is now in another phone.

Using iPad as phone, as phone sleeps with the fishes
Hi all,
When I first got my iPad, it would ring when my phone rang, and I could answer the call on it. I think I stopped it, but don't remember how. The iPad still receives messages though. So so Saturday, I dropped the iPhone x over the side of the boat while fishing. Does anyone know how to "divert" calls to the iPad until my new phone arrives?

My iPhone is restarting again and again
My iPhone 7 was turned out, may be due to a low battery during the night. When I wake up early morning, the phone was off and I connected it with the charger. It shows the Apple logo and again turned off. After a few seconds, it again shows the Apple logo and then again turned off.

Downgraded and now missing all data in Activity app
I downgraded to 12.1.1 through the iTunes Shift+Update method. Everything looks as it should except my Activity app, which is completely empty.
Is this something that will rectify itself or did I screw something up? Thanks in advance.

Issue sending attachments to android phone
I am pretty sure I’m not the only one. I can send images, but I’m having problems sending attachments such as PDF files from my iPhone to an Android phone. I’ve tried rebooting, toggling the iMessage on/off as well as the MMS and group messaging functions in settings. Anyone know how to fix this issue? Sending attachments from one iPhone to another iPhone is not an issue at all.

Ringtones won't appear in iPhone after successful sync
For some reason synced ringtones will not appear on my iPhone. My ringtones are in the .M4R format, they are playable in iTunes, they are displayed in the "ringtones" folder in iTunes, and are also displayed in the "ringtones" tab of my iPhone in iTunes; however they simply do not appear on my iPhone when I go to settings after syncing.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

Help - Unknown iPhone in "Allow Calls on Other Devices"

It seems that I have another iPhone under the "Allow Calls On" list:

I disabled that device, but it was enabled when I first saw the setting
Currently I have only one iPhone. When I sold my old iPhone I made sure that everything is wiped. I did a factory reset, made sure that I sign out of my Apple ID, etc.
So, my question is, what is this "iPhone (iPhone)" that is supposed to be receiving calls and how can I remove it from this list/Apple...
