Help me rescue photos...

Ok, I'm helping a friend out who is desperate to get some photos off her iPhone 4 after dropping it down the toilet.

She asked me as I'm a laptop engineer and enjoy stripping stuff down.
I've changed loads of iPhone screens etc so I said I'd give it a go.

Anyway when I stripped down the phone there was all the usual damage, corroded connectors etc.

I've cleaned everything up with 99.9% alcohol cleaner and replaced the screen and battery as they were both dead.

The phone now boots okay to the lock screen but there is a 10 second delay before it will accept the passcode. After the lock screen disappears the phone looks normal all the icons and photos are there but within 15 or so seconds the device reboots to the apple logo then back to the delayed lock screen.

It continues this behavior of rebooting so you don't get a chance to backup using itunes.

It will stay switched on in DFU mode though no problem, so I'm pretty sure this is corrupted IOS software rather than the logic board.

Is there anyway I can get the files off while in DFU mode?

Thanks
