iphone 3gs not playing on docking station and in car since ios 6.1

Hello everyone,

I updated my girlfriends 3gs from ios 5.1.1 to ios 6.1 but since the upgrade the iphone refuses to play music in the car or from the docking station.
so i can't set an alarm with my music because it can't access the music somehow.

no passcode is on the phone.


any idea's?
