Well the battery on my 4S is quite quickly discharging (3 hours web browsing on 3G with nothing else in the background) and my phone is still in warranty until christmas eve. The battery never used to be this bad, and even when I first moved to iOS 6 I didn't have the issue so I can only conclude it's battery degradation.
So, will Apple replace my battery under warranty if I send it for service (no Apple Store nearby) - their support pages were a little ambiguous on the issue. The top of my screen is a bit yellower than the rest of the screen, and while it hasn't bothered me I could also chuck that into the warranty claim.
