My phone has randomly gone to a black powered off screen state. I plugged it in and it does not show any charging icon from the computer or a wall outlet. I have tried holding both power and home to force a reboot. I tunes will no longer recognize the phone when plugged in.
I have discovered that DFU mode does allow the phone to power on, but I get a 1601 error when trying to restore. I do not need it jailbroken, I have 5.1.1 firmware, cannot download 6 due to slow internet...takes about a month to download from out here. I have my blobs saved with tinyumbrella.
Chances are, the restore didn't even work and I'm back and forth, have yet to get anything other than the black screen. Don't know how to get it to show anything. Can anyone help?
