Strange usage/standby counter issue (iPhone 5 running 6.0.1)...

Hi all,

I've heard of people having issues with the standby counter increasing while the phone is in sleep mode (due to a rogue app running in the background) but my issue is the reverse....

My standby counter increases along with my usage counter while I am using the phone.

I tried to do a complete restore through iTunes but got an error; I will try to manually do it by downloading the IPSW.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Usage: Amount of time iPhone has been awake and in use since the last full charge. The phone is awake when you’re on a call, using email, listening to music, browsing the web, or sending and receiving text messages, or during certain background tasks such as auto-checking email.

Standby: Amount of time iPhone has been powered on since its last full charge, including the time the phone has been asleep.

So standby time would include that the phone has been to sleep *and* the time that the phone has been in use...

Doh!
