iPhone 4S dies when taking pictures using flash

Hi,

While my iPhone 3GS was the best phone I've ever had, my iPhone 4S has been nothing but a disappointment.

Other than crashing at least once a week, and having utterly worthless reception, here's my latest problem. Every time I'm a bit down on battery power, say below 30%, and use my camera to take pictures with the flash activated, the phone dies. The phone won't start afterwards, but only shows the "No battery" icon. Yesterday though, the same thing occurred when I had as much as 65% battery left. The only solution is usually to plug in the charger and wait for it to start, the phone will then show the same battery percentage as when it died - thus far from empty.

Funny thing is that this never occurs when I use the camera without flash. Moreover, other apps using the built in flash - like flashlight, never causes the same problems.

I'm on iOS 6 btw.

Has anyone noticed the same problems? What are my options here? I believe I'm on my last days of warranty - or possibly even out of warranty.

Thanks in advance!
