Hello all!
I've been restoring and upgrading my iPhone many many times.
So, every time I do it, I have to wait literally DAYS to sync all my music!
My guess (and I'm almost certain about this) is that iTunes is converting the songs as it is transferring music to the iPhone and that's why it is so slow...
Since I have a lot of music (more than 25Gb), I use the option "Convert higher rate songs to 128kbps" so I can put them in the iPhone 3GS (32GB) with just 15Gb. I have noticed that this quality downgrade is perfectly acceptable, so the ACC 128kbps a a good "quality/size of the file" ratio!
My question is, how can I plug in the iPhone to sync music and turn this process in a much quicker process? Is iTunes capable of converting the songs permanently in iTunes and then just copy them normally?
I don't want to create new ACC files and swap them with the existing MP3 because I would like to keep the PLAY COUNTERS. :o
Thank you.
