iPhone 4 Screen Replacement gone bad

I posted this in iPhone and realised it was probably better suited for here.
I've recently disasembled an iPhone 4 and replaced the screen, so I reassemble it and turn it back on, and I get this.
Is this a defective screen, or did I **** something up?
