Hi folks,
I've recently got an iPhone 5. It is my return to iOS, previously I had an iP4 on launch way back when.
Something is pickling my noodle.
Basically, when you disable things in the Notification centre... does this kill them entirely? As in no more background data being pushed / pulled?
Reason I ask, Tweetbot has notification options within the app.
If I kill the notifications in the centre, it stops them coming through but i'm concerned with battery drain if its still clawing in the data in the background.
Does that make sense?
Ive been with Android for a few years now and know too well the perils of background data destroying battery. lol
Cheers
