iP5 rear camera does not flash

My iPhone 5 rear camera does not flash. I've replaced the rear camera module w/ flash, but still no flash. When I lightly tap the top of my phone near the camera lens/LED light, I can hear a rattle sound, even after I had replaced it. Any thoughts?
