I have an iPhone 5s that I recently received a replacement device for a different reason back in the month of May.
The other day I was showing my brother how much thinner my phone is compared to his iPhone 4s and I noticed my phone wasn't exactly straight.
It's sort of hard to notice unless you look for it. It's bent around the volume button area.
I've read that Apple is aware of this issue for iPhone 5/5s models and has no problem replacing them as long as there is no other physical damage. I have heard this is due to battery expanding in the device.
When it's placed on a table you can clearly see that near the volume buttons the phone is not touching the table, it's raised up.
There is no other physical damage to the phone, and I have never dropped the device. Never put it in my back pocket. Is it possible that the replacement they gave me came this way? Should I book a genius bar appointment?
Thanks.
