When we go to our holiday house we bring 5 Apple devices (1x Mac, 2x iPhones, 2x iPads). Up there we have Wifi through a router using the 4G network. Last year I bought 20GB at a time at considerable cost. Everything works just fine.
My question is related to the cost and therefore how quickly 20GB is "eaten up". As I can monitor traffic through the router, it was consuming data without anyone using any bandwidth. I figure the devices are doing all sorts of "homework", one of which I presume to be photo syncing.
I don't know IOS and OS X well enough to know which services to switch off. I am quite happy to live with photo syncing while in the holiday house, for instance.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks.
