massive data usage and battery drain

Hello,

Looking for help. In the last two days my iPhone 4 on ATT iOS7.1 started to drain the battery quick. I checked my data usage and it was 600mb used. My normal monthly usage is 600mb. I check my outbox and sent mail, I did not see anything pending. I also reset the network setting with no luck. This all started to happen when I received some notification for roaming but I'm still in my state and roaming is off on my iPhone.

I have not installed any new apps and all geolocation are turned off. Anyone else encounter this problem and have remedies ?
