Okay I'm having a problem here. I've spent all day trying to do a clean install on my phone and attempting to restore my WhatsApp chat history through iCloud.
When I run my iPhone 4 on iOS 5 or iOS6, and I install WhatsApp, it prompts me that I have about 403MB of chat data and asks if I wish to restore it. Unfortunately when I attempt to download it, it simply gets stuck at 0 bytes (0%).
However when I run it on iOS7, it tells me that it's unable to find my chat history on iCloud at all.
Also when I look through my iCloud usage on my Macbook Air, it shows that I have 2.22/5GB free. I know that out of the 2.78GB used, at least 2.7GB is taken up by one of my back-ups, so it doesn't seem like my 400MB of WhatsApp data is on the cloud at all.
My theory is that the 400MB somehow got lost on iCloud. Has anyone else ever had app data suddenly disappear from the cloud? Do you think Apple might be able to restore it?!
EDIT: Nvm. Somehow I managed to access the mobile data through my Mac. I'll figure some way to jailbreak and dump the data onto my phone.
