Apps opening in small window

I've been having a problem recently where some apps that I open on my iPhone (4S, 7.1) will open in this sort of small window version:





I've tried rebooting to no avail. Just restored my phone too, so I'm not sure if that'd help, but I'm open to trying again.

Anyone else had this issue?
