A friend of mine complained to me that on his iPhone 4s the volume of the receiver and also when a headset is connected is very low.
When I compared the volume on his iPhone 4s to the volume on my iPhone 4s I noticed indeed quite a difference in the volume - both when listening through the receiver and when listening through the same corded headset. And it is not only the volume, it is also the sound as such. My iPhone has clearly a better - fuller - sound than his.
Both iPhones have iOS 7.0.6 and on both iPhones the volume buttons at the side of the phone work. My friend's iPhone has actually just been set up fresh as a new iPhone.
Is there anything that can be done to get the volume on my friend's iPhone higher?
Are there any apps that can be used to tune the sound of the iPhone receiver/headset?
Greetings - desertman
