Trouble setting up imap/pop email on brand new iPhone 5S

So I am having trouble setting up a coworkers pop email address on his brand new iPhone 5S. When I log into our work email and enter in the correct pop3 info we only receive some of his work e-mails and not all of them. It seems like when we drag to refresh, both read, and unread emails are deleted. All of us here either have iPhones, or Android phones with the correct info that is provided by our email client without any problems. This is the only deice that isn't working properly. Any suggestions? :confused:

The problem has been fixed! We restarted the iPhone, restored from iCloud, and re input the email settings and it worked. Feel free to close this thread if you wish!
