2nd IPhone on my ITunes messed mine up

Hi there,

I backed up my wife's IPhone on my computer last night. During the backup process ITunes showed 2 IPhones connected. Mine and hers. But mine was NOT connected. So, it completed her backup to the right location. Then this morning I went to sync my IPhone with Outlook's contacts, calendar, and notes. Takes forever and seems stuck in syncing contacts and then calendar.

So, it seems that ITunes got confused somehow as it showed 2 IPhones hooked up when there was only one. Now I have the sync problem. How to resolve this? I'm guess uninstalling and reinstalling ITunes might be the way to go?
