I think I know the answer but am posting in the hope there is a solution...
I recently transferred all my photos from the camera roll onto my PC via cable, there were around 300 photos and two videos. One of the videos transferred over and is saved on my PC but I didn't notice that the other one somehow did not transfer and I subsequently went on to delete both the 'camera roll' and 'photostream' from my phone as I then synced all the photos I had saved on to the PC back to the phone so I thought I had all content as before except the photos/videos were now in a folder that had come from 'my computer' rather than being in the camera roll/photostream.
On the iphone there is a 'videos' folder, it's not in there either. After syncing I backed up - that was 6th Feb 16:11 and the latest back up to iCloud was 00:48 7th Feb. I have it set to automatically back up to icloud when plugged in over wifi (which is every night when charging) but not sure if it backs up videos and if so to where?
