So few months ago my iPhone 5 stopped working. It wouldn't turn on. Apple won't touch it as I bought it in different country. So went to a repair shop, they opened it and said it is short circuited. He repaired it. Was working fine until last week, when the phone wouldn't charge. It was working but when battery went off, phone switched off. Took it to same guy. He opened it and said same problem. Felt something fishy. Told him to not do anything. And got my phone. Went to another place and he said based on my info, its seems a wiring issue. Which he can fix, at very low cost. Said do it. He opened and found the mother board short and screwes missing.
Now I'm at a lose end. What does it mean:
Phone short circuited
And mother board circuited.
Should I get mother board repaired or buy a new phone?
