My Itunes wont recognize my Iphone 5

I don't really use itunes on the computer but i tried today, when i first clicked on it it said it's not in English and to open the right itunes ( something along those lines) , i only had one itunes so i just downloaded another one 11.1.3.8 its called, but it wont recognize the phone, it' still charging but the icon doesn't appear in itunes for my iphone :(
Also it says it can't connect to itunes store because i have no internet but i have wifi im using it right now it's fast 58 mbps
Also im using some cheap usb not the official since i lost that one
