Hi
Bit of an odd one. I work with networks so have managed to pin down what happens.
This happens at multi locations so it's not a problem with a certain router or access point. It has started happening since I updated to iOS 6.
When it happens wifi will suddenly only access things on the local LAN. I can access web servers on the LAN and ping devices on the LAN fine for example. I can not ping something out side on the Internet, access any sites or email for example.
Some times it will only stop working briefly and just suddenly start working again. Other times I have to give up and do the 'Reset Network Settings'. It will then work again guaranteed.
My other half has an iPhone 4S also and has no issues. I support 20 plus iPhones at work as well and have also not seen the issue on any of them either. It's def something to do with my iPhone! It's deciding not to bother with/route by/forget it's gateway.
I'm really trying to avoid wiping it (I'll do a restore if I do but I suspect that will just restore the problem too so will end up having to restart from scratch setting it up as brand new, I really would like to avoid this).
Has any one seen this before or got any ideas please?
Thanks
