Hello everyone,
I recently purchased an unlocked iPhone 3GS and tried updating it seeing there was one available under settings. It was taking longer than I had expected it to take and the phone had suddenly turned off at mid-download and started flashing the apple logo on and off, over and over again. Being familiar with iTunes I thought of doing a recovery as it had appeared my phone would not turn completely on and continued flashing. Once I had done a few hours of research over this topic a lot of signs pointed me toward using recovery. I proceeded to sync the phone to iTunes and let the recovery and Auto Updates go underway. After all was done, the phone booted up like normal but as I reached to activating my phone it tells me it could not reach activation server and I need to connect to activation server/iTunes. I am connected to iTunes as it gives me this message on my phone and on iTunes it says, "There is no SIM card installed on the iPhone you are attempting to activate". I do have a SIM card with T-mobile which had worked fine before this whole fiasco.. Any help or guidance in resolving this issue would mean the world to me. Thank you for your time! Also the phone updated to iOS 6.1.3
