Okay so I'm having a strange audiobook issue. It's happening with only one file on both my iphone 4s (ios 7) and my ipad 2 (ios 6) but NOT on my imac. I can also recreate it in third party apps, not just the stock music app. I have tried restarting the devices as well as deleting the file and resyncing.
The problem seems to be that the minutes and hours are somehow getting mixed up when scrubbing. The audiobook in question is one track about 18 hours long, but you can't fast-forward past the 18 minute mark using the scrubbing bar because it thinks the book is over. When you play the book from the beginning the counter counts up normally, but if you pull the bar to the one hour mark it will only fast forward to the one minute mark in the track and so on. You can pull the bar to just before the end and it will continue to play even after the remaining time goes down to zero, so there clearly is more to the file than just 18 minutes... you just can't manually fast forward past that spot, which as you can imagine makes listening to that book in its entirety very tedious if you happen to lose your spot.
