Buying Verzion iPhone 5s contract free ?

Hi - I was just wondering, if there is a way to buy the Verizon iPhone 5s contact free, by paying the full price. I’m currently staying in India and have my relatives in the US, who will be travelling to India soon. I earlier though of shipping them the T-Mobile variant of the iPhone 5s, which will work for all GSM networks worldwide.

Later I read a very useful thread, which spoke about the Verzion iPhone 5s being truly a worldphone as it supports CDMA + GSM ; and hence I’m considering if I can get the Verzion iPhone 5s contract free, by paying the full price. Has anyone done this before ?

Note : Just goto know, that the Verizon iPhone 5s works on all itnernational GSM and CDMA carriers outside the US. It will not work on a US T-Mobile, AT&T or Sprint Network.
