ATT has authorized unlocking my wife's iPhone 4S.
I have it synced to her MacBook Pro and my Mac Mini. I use the MBP to sync everything but apps; I sync her apps using the Mini so we can share apps that are purchased using my iTunes account.
My question: What is the best way to unlock her iPhone in this situation? Here are the ATT unlocking instructions:
To complete the unlock, simply
1. Open iTunes on your Mac or PC and verify that you have Internet connectivity.
2. Ensure a SIM card is inserted into your iPhone.
3. Connect your iPhone using the dock connector to USB cable that came with your iPhone.

5. After restoring, your iPhone will be unlocked.
