Recently a mate of mine came to me with his iPhone 5 saying that it rather suddenly went black and wont turn on after charging all day. I took in the iPhone 5 running standard iOS 6 to find that it has been stuck in 'Soft DFU Mode'. I have done a fair bit of searching on this subject but all topics seem to focus on Jailbreaking which isn't the case here...
Does anyone know of a way to exit 'Soft DFU Mode' without losing data. Data can be lost if we have to, but preferably not ;)
Thanks a lot Macrumors community!
