Ever since I got my iPhone 5 last September, I've been experiencing very subpar battery life. I've tried everything. I swapped out phones twice, then just kind of gave up.
Just recently, I did a full restore, set my phone up as a new device, and did not back up from either iCloud or iTunes. Then I did a full DFU restore, set my phone up as a new device, and did not back up from either iCloud or iTunes. I did not sign into iCloud either. Just doing basic Internet browsing in Safari and playing around in the settings menu causes my iPhone to become warm and drop about 1% of battery life every few minutes.
I don't know what to do anymore. I'll probably wait it out because I plan on getting the 5s - I just really hope that between the slightly bigger battery, the new A7 chip, and iOS 7, we see much better and improved battery life.
I remember the days on my iPhone 4 where I could heavily use my phone all throughout the day and still have around 20-30% left. Also, I'm in a pretty decent LTE area (3-4 bars) so I don't think that's the problem. I've tried turning off LTE in the past for an hour but it made little difference. :(
