My iPhone 3gs battery drained while it was in recovery mode(the screen that shows "connect to iTunes"), and now I have no way of charging it because dfu mode will not allow the iphone to charge.
I cannot charge it with my macbook because since the battery is completely dead, the computer gives me the "one or more of your usb devices has been disabled because it was drawing too much power" error. And ever since this error it is not recognized on any computer. I tried different macs, windows computers, and even 5 different usb apple connectors, the iphone just remains powered off. Im assuming its drawing too much power because the battery is completely dead.
It wont turn on unless its plugged into a wall socket, but that does not charge the battery it just turns the phone on. and it just shows" connect to iTunes".
And since the battery is completely dead, when I try to take it out of dfu mode manually by pressing the power button and home button at the same time and hold them, the iphone just turns off because it doesn't have enough power to go through the resetting process.
Is there a way I can pull the battery out and manually charge it?
