Hi i purchased an iphone 4 and upon arrival it wont turn on. I plugged it into my computer and apple says its in recovery mode. I usually get 1600 or 1601 errors when attempting to install new firmware. I've tried ireb, redsnow, even some recovery fix software. None of those work. The screen has remained blank throughout the whole time of ownership except when i used redsnow and did "pwned dfu" and "recovery fix" and my screen loaded white with a bunch of red lines going thru it. ![]()
I have never seen that before but i attempted to recreate it and it reoccurred. I figured maybe my screen was messed up since it is cracked. So i hooked it up to a new screen and absolutely nothing happened. I plugged the old screen in and attempted to recreate the red bars again and absolutely nothing happened.
Anyways im here to get some better advice.
