iPhone 4 mic and

Hi all,

Two problems have appeared today:

1. When I use speaker (playing music, videos, speakerphone call) - it works but the volume is a bit lower than before (even in max volume settings), and also the sound is unclean, i.e. there's "white noise" and it isn't as clear as before.

2. My mic is terrible. I noticed people can't hear me in regular conversations, and when I tested this with the "Voice Memos" app I can only hear myself if I stick my ear to the speaker, and it's still very low, which means the mic is working but barely (almost as if it's blocked and my voice doesn't reach it).

My iPhone may have gotten wet (I'm not sure), that's the only explanation I thought of.

So I found videos explaining how to replace the charging dock + mic, but when I searched eBay, I noticed that the dock+mic is sold separately from speaker. Is that true? For instance, does this include everything I need:

Or I also need to do something with the speaker?

I'd be happy to hear any advice, what exactly do I need to buy, etc. Do you think I should leave it to the pros and pay for a lab to fix it?
