Ever since the upgrade to iOS 6 (currently using v6.1.4,) certain songs when played back on my iPhone and iPad cut off mid-way and advance to the next song or just go silent until the song ends.
When the same songs are played on my Mac via iTunes, there is no problem. After several visits to the Genius bar and implementing the following suggestions, I still have not resolved the problem:
Syncing iPhone via cable rather than WiFi
Deleting the music and re-syncing
Deleting playlists
Updating iPhone firmware (approx. 30 days ago)
Resetting iPhone to factory default and reconfiguring as a new phone (wiped data.)
I do not use iTunes match on the Mac or on any of my devices. I have searched the forums and have not found any good fix other than those listed above.
