My sister's iPhone 4S froze up today on her Facebook app. It's stuck on the 'loading' screen of the app, the white page and the blue bar on top but without any text. Double-clicking the home button does nothing; the Siri sound plays when I hold down the home button but nothing happens (Siri never replies); additionally, her lock button has been stuck for a couple weeks (she has been using AssistiveTouch to lock her phone). AssistiveTouch here does nothing, but I can take a screenshot from it (though I can't access it). The phone doesn't go into automatic lock, either, and right now we're waiting for the phone to die so we can plug it in and restart it.
Is there any way to get the app to close without using the home/lock buttons, or should we sits wait for it to die? We live several hours away from the closest Apple Store, which is why we haven't taken it in yet.
