I'de like to ask if I can use the old cord that came with my first gen iPod touch with my iPhone 4?
The iPod touch and the cord is permanently plugged in my car, and now that I have an iPhone 5, I decided to use my old iPhone 4 as my cars iPod.
Can I just plug my iPhone 4 with the old wire I'm using with the iPod touch? Or should I buy a new cord? I don't want to mess with it's battery. It still works perfect and can still be a good back up phone for emergencies.
I can't use the old cord that came with my iPhone 4 cause my wife still uses it. She lost hers a while ago.
By the way the old iPod touch 1st gen is still running strong. Some lags but otherwise she works excellent. Money well spent.
