I know this has been addressed 1000 times but I can't get my head around how to manage this issue. Hopefully someone can direct me in the right place.
Firstly I know you can't merge iTunes accounts (although that would solve this issue).
I have an OLD email account that is my iTunes account. I never use this email address anymore and have 1 single address that I will now use.
I have a RMBP, iPhone 4 and iPad 2. I want to set all the devices up with my new email address. Is it possible to SYNC all the data from both the iPhone and iPad to my computer, restore iPad and iPhone to stock 5.1.1 and use NEW email address for iTunes and iCloud etc.
I have only a few paid apps which I can repurchase however it is the heaps of free ones that I want to transfer to my new iTunes account. I have a lot of games that I downloaded when they were free for a limited time and would like to keep all my saved progress on these games.
If it is any help both iPhone and iPad are JB. Don't care if the settings and JB are lost (themes & SBSettings) as i can reset this up easily enough.
