iPhone 3GS Yellow Striped Screen

So, I ****ed up, bigtime.
I ended up jailbreaking a friend's dad's iPhone from redsn0w and it was working fine. I jailbroke by telling redsn0w that I was on 6.0, when I was on 6.0.1 that way redsn0w would actually jailbreak for me. After it jailbroke, it implied for me to use the "boot tethered option", and I did. It worked fine, I went onto Cydia, and I installed winterboard. I left the iPhone to install winterboard, I came back, and it was off. I thought that was weird, but I thought it just restarted for some weird reason, and that I could boot it up when I get the chance tomorrow.
Tomorrow comes, and it won't boot normally because it is tethered, and when it does boot up, it boots up to a screen full of yellow stripes. However, I do notice that there is patterns for certain instances. After trying to restore, and iTunes looks for the iPod after giving the iPhone the preparations it needs to restore, it fails to restart and it just hangs, with the same yellow pattern. Whenever I try to boot tethered, it shows a slightly different pattern, but still comprised of hundreds of horizontal and vertical lines. However, everytime it boots, it starts off with a white screen, and then goes to the yellowscreen.

I honestly can't think of a way to fix this. I don't have SHSH blobs of this, since it is my friend's dad's and he doesn't really know what it is, and that the restore fails, because it can't reboot.

So, gentlemen, any suggestions?
(I'm running a 3gs, which is the newer iPhone with the newer bootrom.)
