I have a MacBook Pro that now does not charge or sync an iPhone 5 via USB. I verified the USB port with a printer connection, which works. The iPhone charges via the same cable connected to a wall charger. I also plugged a second iPhone into the same USB port, and it also didn't charge and wasn't detected by the Mac.
I've already reset pram and smc.
Is uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes the only step left?
