My husband crossed a ditch with very high water with his phone in his pocket to help a neighbor during hurricane Isaac. It had a speck case on it and a moshi screen protector. He noticed it was in his pocket after crossing the rushing waters. He noticed the light was on and the phone was off so he turned it on to turn the light off. The screen was flashing and the light remained on. He turned it back off and stuck it in a bag of rice with the sim card out. It's been over 24 hours and he's charged it to see if it will turn on and it won't. Have we left it in rice long enough? Is there still hope for this phone? Or do we need to give up and replace it? After charging the light comes back on but the phone itself will not turn on. Please help! This is my husbands life! All his work is on it. Can that stuff be recovered? (pics, contacts, etc)
