So ever since I've updated my iPhone to 5.1.1, it doesn't show or connect to WiFi networks. When I stand right next to a router it will show up but with only 1 or 2 bars of signal. This is with various routers too, it is not just my home router. My laptop will pick up signals fine, but my iphone won't.
I've tried restoring the network settings, restoring the phone and even jailbreaking it. Nothing has worked so far. Is this now a hardware issue? I've searched the apple forums and saw other people seem to have similar problems but I can't seem to find a solution.
This is very frustrating as I'm traveling abroad right now and can't rely on 3g anymore.
My phone is currently unlocked by Apple. Is there anyway to downgrade my firmware version to below 5.1.1 and keep the unlock?
Thanks!
